LF AI & Data Foundation Announces Graduation of Kedro Project

LF AI & Data Foundation, an organization dedicated to fostering an ecosystem for sustainable open-source innovation in artificial intelligence (AI) and data projects, has announced the graduation of Kedro, an open-source Python framework for building production-ready data science pipelines. Kedro’s progression from incubation to graduation within LF AI & Data, affirms its stability, maturity, and value to the global data science and machine-learning community.

About Kedro

Originally open sourced in 2019 and contributed to LF AI & Data by QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, in August 2021, Kedro has become a powerful framework supporting complex data workflows through modular, reusable, and reproducible code. Kedro brings software engineering best practices into data science, enabling data scientists and engineers to focus more on creating value and less on technical overhead.
